LEO PRODUCTIONS (BAHAMAS) LTD. is proud to announce the long-awaited Bahamian production: ISLAND BOY the musical. It includes such classics as:

MEDIA RELEASE: October 9, 2014

ISLAND BOY the musical will hold open auditions on Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts on Mackey Street in Palmdale.

Please check www.islandboythemusical.com for specific audition support for both music and acting auditions. Roles that are available are listed on the website and casting will have a One Bahamas theme as the locales of the show are The Bahamas and Canada.  Age ranges vary.  All persons cast will be expected to dance, sing and act.

Persons wishing to audition and would like ‘hard’ copies of music and acting selections may contact Dr. Cleveland Williams at 376-2864 and pick these up downtown in Nassau.

Since this is a new musical theatre piece, there will be opportunities to work with all the ‘professionals’ and collaborate. Come and be a part of this exciting new project.

Do you sing, dance, act? The production team of Island Boy—the musical would like to meet you. We are casting 8 major roles and 8 supporting or minor roles. Adults will be featured who can sing, dance and act.

Attend an introduction to Eric Minns’ Bahamian musical on Thursday, June 5 at 7 pm. at Christ Church Parish Hill, George Street, Nassau.

This is a joint production with The Nassau City Opera Company and Loric Publishers.

Come hear the music, see some of the dance, understand the story to help you prepare for the auditions that will be held later in June. Audition preparation information will be available and you will be able to meet and talk to the artistic production team.
